I couldn’t sleep last night, so out of boredom/tiredness, I decided to put a film on. After a couple of minutes choosing from the pile of DVDs on my floor, I ultimately chose National Lampoon’s Vacation (classic Chevy Chase, can’t go wrong with it)- I must say it’s a pretty damn fine choice. But it got me onto a train of thought which has been following me around most of the day. Continue reading
As I’ve said in previous blog posts, I’m back to being out of work and therefore pretty much broke. I’m also back to living with my parents for the time being, which has it’s upsides as well as negative points. But I’m not going get into that one. However, I’ve made a bad mistake over the last couple of days which will mean I get pretty much nothing done.
I’ll start be giving a quick update about my life- one good thing, one bad thing. The bad thing is that after just over a week, I’ve been fired from my job. I saw this coming anyway, so I’m not complaining, but I’d have like a little bit of cash from it. But the good news- remember that list I made ages ago about my favourite albums of all-time, and I’m after them on vinyl? Well, I’m one step closer- I’ve managed to get hold of a copy of The Idiot by Iggy Pop here on teh interwebz. They’ll be a photo when it arrives. Continue reading
This is a little sad. This post will actually be the last one I make while living where I am right now. I’m going back home today until September, providing I get a decent enough degree and can work in order to build up funds so I can move back to Preston. But yeah, I could pine on about how I’m going to miss things, but as I said, all being well I’ll be back in a few months, so…yeah. Continue reading
Hello again. I’ve had time to re-group and think of another blog post. Hopefully one which will be fairly fun to research and doodle, if possible. It is Friday, after all! Continue reading
A while back I made a post about the sport of professional wrestling, which I didn’t really finish…or really start, now I think about it. Anyway, I had a phonecall from my dad a little while after I’d made the post, asking a few questions. Namely, “where’s the British wrestlers?”. So, after some research/youtubing/watching a few old World Of Sport videos, I can bring you a second part to my wresting rambling. Continue reading
As I’ve mentioned before here at shenaniganation, I like films. I wasn’t intending to make a post about films today, but something caught my attention on the internet, that I’ve been thinking about most of the day now. Damn internet. Continue reading
Arrghhhhhh- it’s been a whole week since my last blog post! I must apologise- I’ve been very busy over the last few days with work, along with quite a few rehearsals. Anyway, I’m back now, and hopefully won’t leave that much of a gap between updates again. Hopefully. Continue reading
Hi again everyone. I’m going to break my usual cycle of ramblings/music/football-based tedium by talking about something else. Mainly just as an excuse to make a post, and to do some doodles. Bear with me though- there’s some opinions in here, and you never know, you might enjoy it. Here we go… Continue reading
To begin with- 10 points for whoever gets the reference in the title. Like anyone who was brought up in the 1990s and early 2000s, I like video games. However, I have a very love/hate attitude to them for several reasons. I never sure what I’d ‘classify’ myself as in terms of video games- I’m not quite ‘casual gamer’, nor am I really a ‘retro gamer’. But I’m going to talk about games- stuff I like, stuff that annoys me.
